Story of how Revolution begins

During the 30 years that General Diaz remained in power, citizens could choose ruler and because a small group of people monopolized power, social inequality was evident: the rich was richer, living in European-style mansions and the poor were poorer, less trying to "survive" in small huts. But also launched another social layer previously unknown: the middle class, thanks to which, entrepreneurs accounted wealth.

This was the atmosphere that existed in the country in early 1900 and a name started ringing in the political life of Mexico: Francisco I. Madero who founded the Benito Juárez Democratic Club and later created a network of communication between the circles Porfirian regime opponents. In 1908 he published his book, "The Presidential Succession in 1910" where captured a study of the military dictatorship and raised the need for an independent party to achieve the effectiveness of the vote and the triumph of principle antirilexionist, with which it would combat dictatorship of Porfirio Diaz.

President Diaz, meanwhile, thought the people of Mexico and was ready to start living a democratic government, but to reach it, we had to create various political parties might contend. So allowed to create parties and candidates from running to finally vote for a new president. Madero took this new position and Diaz was nominated as president of the party he founded.

But shortly before the 1910 elections, Madero was jailed in Monterrey and later moved to San Luis Potosi, being accused of having delivered a speech in which he insulted the president. With offstage Madero, Porfirio Diaz - through electoral fraud - is re-elected president of Mexico, and until then, Madero is released on condition that he leave the city. He decides to go to San Antonio, Texas, Laredo crossing, and then launches manifesto known as the Plan de San Luis Potosi with denouncing electoral fraud June, ignores the established powers, and Article 7, incites the people to take weapons to overthrow the dictatorship, "the 20th of November from six in the evening on wards, all citizens of the republic will take up arms to throw the power currently governing authorities. The people who are removed from the roads will do the day before. " And this plan which stressed the principle of "effective suffrage, no reelection" was the impetus for the revolution would start.
